Overseas Customs and Import Duties

The Official Music Box Company is based in the UK. Depending on where you live, additional customs duties, taxes and handling fees may apply to your order.

USA

Customers in the USA can pre-pay a small customs and duties charge at checkout. No additional charges should be payable on delivery.

EU Countries

Germany, Denmark and Luxembourg are exceptions — please see below.
Orders to other EU countries are sent with customs charges unpaid (also called Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU)).
These charges are not included at checkout and must be paid to your local postal service when your parcel arrives, before it can be delivered.

You may need to pay:

• The €3 EU customs duty
• Your country's import VAT, calculated on your order total
• A local postal handling or customs clearance fee

These charges are collected by your local postal service and are outside our control.

Germany, Denmark and Luxembourg

Due to post-Brexit customs requirements, we are currently unable to send orders to these countries with duties unpaid. Any applicable customs charges must therefore be pre-paid at checkout.

All Other International Orders

Orders shipped outside the UK and USA (excluding the EU exceptions above) are sent with the necessary customs declarations. You are responsible for any local customs taxes, VAT, import duties and postal handling fees, which are usually payable on delivery.
